Charco Press signs North American distribution deal | The Bookseller

Scottish indie Charco Press has signed a distribution deal with Ingram's Consortium to break into the North American market. 

Launched in 2017, Charco, which won the Scottish Small Press of the Year at the British Book Awards 2019 and specialises in Latin American literature, says the North American market has "strong potential" and is the fastest growing source of web sales for the company.  

Consortium will commence distribution with five Charco titles in its coming autumn season, led by Resistance by Brazilian Julián Fuks, and the 2018 International Man Booker longlisted Die, My Love by Argentinean author Ariana Harwicz.
